You can find the serial number that is stamped on the gold colored plate, on the inside of the piano as shown below.
Check the serial number against the list below. Try selecting other toggles if you are unable to find your serial number.
Based on the picture below, the Yamaha U3H serial number is 1629200. After checking the list, the U3H was manufactured in 1973.
You can find the serial number at the top center of the plate between the bass and treble sections, or under the Kawai Logo.
Check the serial number against the list below. Do note that the serial numbers listed below do not apply to KX Series pianos (KX10, KX15, KX21).
Based on the picture below, the Kawai BL-61 serial number is 599109. After checking the list, the BL-61 was manufactured in 1972.
